Normal light bulbs are definied as “incandescent” because of a thin filament that works by incandescence in a full of gas glass bulb. When an incandescent light bulb is on, 95% of electric current is turned in heat, and wasted. Only 5% of that current become light.
That’s why new light bulb borned. Those energy-efficient light bulbs cost a little more, it’s true, but if lightness is equal, they use up 1/5 of traditional incandescent light bulbs, and they work very longer.
