Card: how to create a sitemap

You just need to include two parameters to generate a sitemap with xml-sitemaps.com

The first is your complete url website address which must be included near the words Starting URL. The second parameter to be included is the frequency with which your site is updated. This should be done next to the words Change Frequency. Should you indicate a wrong frequency this could probably slow down future indexing, therefore don’t write “every day” if you think you’ll be updating your pages once a month.

You can always create a sitemap in the future, substituting the previous one with new information.

Press the start button at the bottom of the page and wait until the website has been completely uploaded (a task bar will show you work in progress).

You’ll see your web pages in detail on the sitemap, including the number of pages, a list of non functioning links, the content of xml files and the connections to a compressed sitemap. Download the sitemap file by using this link and include it in your site’s major folder.
