SECONDA LETTERA APERTA A VLADIMIR PUTIN

Egregio Signor Putin,

è la seconda lettera “aperta” che Le scrivo, sia perché la prima (pubblicata il 12 marzo scorso su queste pagine) non Le sarà pervenuta, quindi mancato riscontro, e sia perché a cento e più giorni dall’inizio del conflitto da Lei mosso nei confronti dell’Ucraina la situazione bellica continua a mietere vittime, feriti, invalidi ed incalcolabili danni d’ogni ordine e grado… peraltro con notevoli riflessi a livello internazionale. Ma al di là dell’avere o meno competenze in fatto di politica internazionale, come pure il fatto di non conoscere nel dettaglio le Sue ragioni che hanno dato adito a voler annientare il popolo ucraino, o a minimizzarne l’esistenza, io credo che non abbia mai considerato l’essenza della vita umana e, paradossalmente, anche la Sua. Essere artefici decisamente responsabili di atti criminosi tanto da arrogarsi il diritto (potere) di decidere quando. come e ancora per quanto sopprimere vite umane, mi riporta alla memoria i fatti (ancora oggi molto discussi a distanza di 70 anni) degli effetti della seconda guerra mondiale, in particolare dello sterminio di milioni di ebrei (e non solo) ad opera di nazisti capeggiati da Hitler e dai suoi accoliti. Per non parlare poi di altre realtà non meno cruenti come la “Santa Inquisizione” che in Italia, per esempio, iniziò ad operare nel XII secolo prendendo forma nel 1184; oppure di quel dispotismo ad opera di Ivan il Terribile (1530-1584), del cileno Augusto José Ramón Pinochet Ugarte (1915-2006), del rumeno Nicolae Ceaușescu (1918-1989), o del coreano Kim Jong-un (1983), ed altri ancora. Vede, signor Putin, quello che non intende concepire (o non ha mai voluto) è che nessuno di noi al mondo (ieri, oggi e domani) è padrone della vita altrui, come pure della nostra stessa vita; ma ciò nonostante Lei imperterrito, quale despota ed ossessionato senza limiti (ed ancor meno dignità) è impassibile di fronte alle Leggi Divine (qualunque siano le origini), o comunque a chi ha voluto dare corso al Regno animale, vegetale e minerale. Considerare questa immensa realtà che dura da tempo immemore, nel corso del quale si sono susseguite infinite popolazioni, dovrebbe indurLa a riflettere sui misteri dell’esistenza e, proprio perché avvolta nel mai risolto mistero, ne intensifica ulteriormente il valore. Anche Lei, immagino, ha avuto una famiglia genitoriale, e magari una sua propria famiglia attuale che sono certo ne disponga da sempre la tutela e la incolumità. Allora, perché queste differenze che tanto danno adito al Suo sempre più insoddisfatto Ego sino a veder cadere ai Suoi piedi morti, feriti e invalidi? La distruzione di un Paese come l’Ucraina, che seppur non conosco, non solo è indice di inciviltà ma di un negazionismo becero ed insulso del diritto di tutti per vivere in pace, salute e serenità; tutti presupposti per la giusta e continua evoluzione della specie… che invece Lei vuole soffocare! Chi Le scrive è un semplice cittadino europeo (di un’Europa che vorrebbe essere unita, ma che è invece ulteriormente disturbata anche da questo Suo dispotismo, sia pur d’oltre confine), ma anche un attento osservatore degli eventi socio-culturali e comportamentali, e nel contempo preposto alla divulgazione degli stessi al fine di far conoscere e, per quanto possibile, sensibilizzare l’opinione pubblica, peraltro aggiornata ed invasa da notizie di cronaca quotidiane. Detto ciò, non ho la presunzione di essere ascoltato e tanto meno condiviso, ma almeno letto affinché questa mia missiva possa avere l’effetto di un dardo mirato al Suo cuore, non per ferirLa ma per (mi permetta la metafora) rivascolarizzare il suo intero apparato circolatorio e dare un maggior impulso al Suo cuore, affinché continui a pulsare ma con intenti di umana pietà. Ho volutamente usato il termine “pietà”, non per inchinarmi a Lei (nemmeno se dovessi conoscerLa), ma per rammentarLe che anche Lei è un essere umano e, se tale vuole essere considerato, non smentisca con la Sua politica offensiva e distruttrice il resto della popolazione che La sta osservando e additando per relegarla nella “coorte” dei personaggi più negletti che hanno disonorato il genere umano. Quindi, un invito alla redenzione, perché anche Lei, prima o poi, dovrà rendere conto del Suo operato ad un Tribunale che non prevede alcun difensore (se non la propria coscienza). But beyond having or not having competences in international politics, as well as not knowing in detail your reasons that have given rise to wanting to annihilate the Ukrainian people, or to minimize their existence, I believe that he has not never considered the essence of human life and, paradoxically, also His. Being decisively responsible for criminal acts to the point of arrogating to oneself the right (power) to decide when. how and still how much to kill human lives, reminds me of the facts (still today many discussed after 70 years) of the effects of the Second World War, in particular of the extermination of millions of Jews (and not only) by Nazis headed by Hitler and his acolytes. Considering this immense reality that has lasted from time immemorial, in the course of which endless populations have followed one another, should lead you to reflect on the mysteries of existence and, precisely because it is shrouded in the never solved mystery, further intensifies its value. I guess she too had a parental family, and maybe her own current family that I am sure has always had her protection and safety. So why these differences that give so much rise to your increasingly dissatisfied Ego until you see dead, wounded and disabled fall at your feet? The destruction of a country like Ukraine, which although I do not know, is not only an indication of incivility but of a vulgar and insipid denial of the right of all to live in peace, health and serenity; all prerequisites for the right and continuous evolution of the species… which instead you want to suffocate! The writer is a simple European citizen (of a Europe that would like to be united, but which is instead further disturbed by this despotism of yours, albeit across the border), but also a careful observer of socio-cultural and behavioral events. , and at the same time in charge of disseminating them in order to make known and, as far as possible, raise awareness of public opinion, which is also updated and invaded by daily news reports. Having said that, I do not have the presumption of being listened to, much less shared, but at least read so that my missive can have the effect of a dart aimed at your heart, not to hurt you but to (allow me the metaphor) revascularize your whole. circulatory system and give a greater impulse to your heart, so that it continues to beat but with intentions of human piety. I have deliberately used the term “pity”, not to bow to you (even if I should have known you), but to remind you that you too are a human being and, if you want to be considered as such, do not deny the rest with your offensive and destructive policy of the population that is observing and pointing at it to relegate it to the “cohort” of the most neglected characters who have dishonored the human race. So, an invitation to redemption, because you too, sooner or later, will have to give an account of your work to a Court that does not foresee any defender (if not your own conscience).
